OUR TRAINING IS THE BEST IN HOMECARE
Caregiver training begins with 8 hours initially, then is supplemented with 22 hours of required training in the first month of employment, including but not limited to:
- Company mission and requirements
- Code of Ethics
- HIPPA and client confidentiality
- Record keeping and fraud prevention
- Personal care and home care skills
- Food safety and food poisoning prevention
- Household Management and Home Maintenance Skills
- Infection Control and Universal Precaution Procedures
- Fall prevention
- Disease management
- Alzheimer’s and related dementia disorders
- Cultural sensitivity
- First Aid training
- Emergency preparedness
- Community Resources
- Mental Health First Aid
- All caregivers are provided with PPE and trained on how to appropriately use it
All employees are required to participate in annual continued training.
